Working in a political environment training available
Tue, 22 Mar 2022

The learning, skills and workforce development team, in conjunction with the democratic services team, has launched a 'working in a political environment' learning opportunity. This training will give you a better understanding of what the roles and responsibilities of councillors are, why the protocol surrounding the relationship between councillors and officers is so important, and other important aspects of working in a political environment.

This course is in two parts, with the first part being multimedia eLearning which can be logged onto and worked on at any time. Once this has been completed you will be invited to attend the second part of the course, a Q&A event with the leader of the council and / or other East Riding councillors. There will be a selection of dates available as well as options to attend the Q&A event in person or virtually, over Teams.

To be one of the first to be invited to attend the first Q&A session, scheduled for the afternoon of Tuesday 29 March, you should commence the elearning as soon as possible by signing up via course finder.
