Get free and confidential money advice at financial wellbeing sessions
Thu, 16 Jun 2022

The welfare visiting team will be holding financial wellbeing sessions for staff at three council locations in the next couple of weeks.

The team will be on hand to help those meet the challenges in the rising costs of living and try to help people manage their money better and/or give advice on any benefits they might be entitled to (including any discretionary grants or payments), with quick benefit checks available.

In addition, there will be help and advice for those in debt with their rent, including council rent and private rent arrears, or in debt with their council tax, along with money saving tips for staff or their families/friends.

The sessions will be held at:

Town Hall, Bridlington - 21 June 2022

Church Street Offices, Goole - 28 June 2022

The Point, County Hall, Beverley - 28 June 2022

All sessions take place from 9am-4pm and are free and confidential.

For staff unable to attend, please contact the welfare visiting team at Benefit.takeup@eastriding.gov.uk or call (01482) 394633 and they will arrange a convenient appointment at a suitable location (or alternatively, via Microsoft Teams).
