The August / September of the staff podcast, 'I Heard it Through the Grapevine', is now available, and as ever, there is a varied selection of stories!

Presented by Steve Eccles and Lisa Welton from the Public Relations team, this new edition features a visit to the stunning 'Brick City' exhibition at Beverley Art Gallery, which see Lego return to the Treasure House until September.

We celebrate Puffins Galore! across the East Riding, and we talk to creative designer Kate Eggleston-Wirtz, whose puffin is on display in Withernsea.

Helen Jenkins - Knight encourages staff to take part in the new Climate Change strategy survey, and help to influence council policy on this vital issue.

We visit Bridlington to enjoy the 60th anniversary of the town's iconic land trains, and we look forward to their electrifying future…

Katheryn Gregory tells us all about the council's Supply Chain Network, which is important for internal and external suppliers, and our Live Well Work Well feature has advice on water safety, and staying safe in the heat, as our summers get warmer.

And in our competition, you could win a family day pass for the Bridlington land trains!
