November’s issue of The Grapevine is now out and available to read in magazine format and on the intranet.

In this month’s issue, the directorate of communities and environment held its annual health and safety initiative – SAFEPLACE Week – for staff.

As the council gears up for the General Election on Thursday, 12 December, staff can find out everything they need to know about registering to vote, postal votes, polling stations and the count itself.

The Day in the Life feature focuses on the vitally important role that the council’s social workers play in supporting patients that are discharged from Scarborough Hospital.

In the latest Questions and Answers feature, you can discover more about Yvonne Rhodes and find out some of the career highlights of the head of business management and commissioning.
