Employee handbook

On behalf of Elected Members and myself I would like to welcome you to our employee e-handbook which has been designed as a reference tool to help you throughout your time with East Riding of Yorkshire Council.

For those of you starting your role within the council, the e-handbook will act as the first stage of your induction into the organisation. It has been created to provide you with some key information that we hope will be useful to you in your new role.

The e-handbook has also been developed as a resource for all employees to explain our policies and procedures, to highlight the benefits available to you throughout your engagement and to signpost you to other information and services that may be useful to you. It explains our corporate aims and values, as well as organisational facts, what you can expect of the council as an employer/host and what we will expect of you as an employee/worker.

Yours sincerely,

Caroline Lacey

Chief Executive
