Mon, 04 Nov 2019

Following feedback at a Meet the Chief Roadshow, chief executive Caroline Lacey has extended an invitation to council staff for this month’s External Voices session.

Around 75 places have been made available to hear from Professors Richard Wilkinson and Kate Pickett on Thursday, 28 November (from 11am-12.30pm) at the Parkway Cinema, Beverley.

The professors will talk about their book, The Inner Level – How More Equal Societies Reduce Stress, Restore Sanity and Improve Everyone’s Wellbeing.

The book explains how inequality affects us individually, how it alters how we think, feel and behave, demonstrating that material inequalities have powerful psychological effects.

To register your interest in attending the session, complete the following e-form https://eastriding.typeform.com/to/coqP9h

Successful registrations will then receive an email invite.

If you have already booked to attend you do not need to complete the booking process again.
