New documentary celebrating spectacular bird migration on the Humber now on YouTube

A new TV documentary on bird migration and recreational disturbance filmed entirely on the Humber has been made by the Humber Nature Partnership and is available on YouTube.

The 25-minute documentary, called Wild Humber, showcases the amazing stories of some of the long-distance bird migrations visiting the estuary.

Local experts explain why the estuary is so important for birds, what draws the birds (and us) to the Humber, and how we play a vital role in the birds’ survival.

The National Grid Community Fund gave a generous grant to the programme.
