A huge thank you to almost 4,000 employees who have completed the Skills Survey so far.

The information you have supplied has been vital in helping the council to prepare for the challenges ahead as we try to keep essential services running.

If you haven't completed the survey yet, please do it as soon as you can.

We are asking everyone who has filled in the form to check in with their colleagues and encourage them to do the same.

It only takes a few minutes and can be completed on a phone, tablet, laptop or a computer.

The skills audit will identify members of staff who can be moved to different roles to help departments who have seen an increase in the workload, or which are short-staffed because of the COVID-19 restrictions.

That is why it is so important that as many people as possible take the time to help us to make plans for the forthcoming weeks and months.
