Your new Cycle to Work Scheme is here. Gear up with Cycle Solutions!
Fri, 01 May 2020

The council has launched a new Cycle to Work Scheme from Monday, 27 April, partnering up with Cycle Solutions.

Get rolling with a hassle-free way into cycling, save money, improve your health and fitness and reduce your carbon footprint.

As we begin to enjoy the warmer weather during this period of self-isolation, Cycle Solutions offer an opportunity for the many staff who continue to commute, working on the frontline, as well as others who are currently working from home; shape up and get cycling to improve your health and well-being, start a new hobby, get out and about on your daily exercise routine and enjoy some quality time with the family!

Whether you're new to the peddle, getting back on the bike or the wheel deal, get involved in the Cycle to Work Scheme!

Cycle to Work is a government initiative which helps you save money when you lease bikes and safety equipment by paying monthly through a salary sacrifice before the deduction of tax and National Insurance. Cycle Solutions offer a wide range of bikes which are available online and delivered to your door the next day (subject to availability of stock) or can be purchased at stores local to you.

Find out how much you could save through the Cycle to Work Scheme with Cycle Solution's easy to use 'savings calculator'.

A number of webinars are being held, providing staff with the opportunity to ask questions about the scheme and products available, you can sign up via the intranet.

Webinars will be held by Cycle Solutions on:

Wednesday, 6 May at 2pm

Thursday, 7 May at 10am

Tuesday, 12 May at 2.30pm
