Description

In spite of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the council has decided to continue producing The Grapevine to keep staff fully informed and up-to-date.

July's issue of the publication is out now and available to read on the intranet.

This month's issue includes a feature looking at some of the personal stories of those staff involved in the council's successful community response hub initiative and how they helped some of our most vulnerable residents as the country tackled the coronavirus.

Council News reports on more fantastic achievements for council staff, teams and projects.

In Staff News, read all about the transport development team's 100km cycle ride from Withernsea Lighthouse to Flamborough Lighthouse on behalf of East Riding teachers.

In addition, there is also the latest Shop & Save offers.

After a short break, the Questions and Answers feature returns for August with Julian Neilson, head of finance, so feel free to send him your questions by emailing the.grapevine@eastriding.gov.uk or calling the press office on ext 1442 before Wednesday, 8 July.

You can also send content ideas and submissions, as well as feedback about the magazine, to the.grapevine@eastriding.gov.uk
