September's issue of The Grapevine now available

In spite of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the council has decided to continue producing The Grapevine to keep staff fully informed and up-to-date.

September's issue of the publication is out now and available to read on the intranet.

This month's issue includes information about the council's phased approach to bringing some office-based staff back to council office buildings from Tuesday, 1 September as well as an interview with the council's new head of human resources, Lynsey Linton, and an article about the first electric vehicles to join the council's fleet.

In the latest Question and Answers feature, you can discover more about Ian Rayner and find out some of the career highlights of the head of culture and customer services.

Council News reports on more fantastic achievements for council staff, teams and projects.

In Staff News, read all about the council's staff podcast presenters and producer - Steve Eccles, Helena Cox and Mark Bateman - being interviewed on a future episode of the podcast about podcasting, Be a Bigger Fish. Also find out about a new children's book that has been written by Skidby Mill front of house attendant, Penni Tanton.
