Description

The ICT service has been working with the council's network support partner to identify the issue causing poor network performance and a method to resolve this.

The ICT service now needs to undertake urgent maintenance of the core network equipment which is planned for 4.30pm this evening (Wednesday, 16 February).

This maintenance work will result in voice and data services and access to applications across corporate buildings being temporarily disrupted. The work should be completed by 5.30pm.

As before, officers connected by VPN should be able to continue using Microsoft 365 services however access to corporate systems may be disrupted.
